Marmaris is a coastal resort town on Turkey's southwest Aegean shore, in Muğla Province, roughly 90 km from Dalaman Airport. Set on a sheltered bay ringed by pine-covered mountains, it's one of the country's best-known holiday destinations built around a long seafront promenade, a 16th-century Ottoman castle in the old quarter, and one of the largest marinas on the Mediterranean.
